But your endorsement does mean a lot to us. Good luck to you. And feel free to comment further to advise our current students. Your perspective as a former student is crucial to our central reason-to-be.Richard Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02890750341504212951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7821055994181766793.post-41361512883671535022009-08-07T23:30:42.592-05:002009-08-07T23:30:42.592-05:00Oh, and good luck to you Dr. Brown. The material was incredibly stimulating and served me very well during my Ph.D. education. The best part about this course, however, was that there are 3 couples (out of only 15-20 people!) that originated from this class and are still together to this date (at least last I checked). Two of these couples (including me and my wife) are now married. And many of the classmates are still good friends, and we see each other periodically. This course definitely has a special place in my heart.HD Kimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7821055994181766793.post-69689790300244385712009-07-23T11:08:28.031-05:002009-07-23T11:08:28.031-05:00Glad you like the courses, Tanmay. I took the Honors math courses (Linear Algebra with Porod and Multivariable with Wilkin were the only ones offered at the time), and I loved them, but they're definitely not for everyone.Tanmay Gokhalenoreply@blogger.com
